The Blasters had an aggressive but unstable start during the Powerplay, sliding to 42/3 inside five overs. Openers Regis Rex (20 off 7 balls) and Sreejith Kollarath Manikoth (2) fell quickly alongside skipper Paulson George (0), with P murali (2/48) claiming two of the early breakthroughs.
