IP50 & 20 Championships:
The final home game from the Richard Beamish Cricket Grounds, Cork was abandoned.
The Reds had the Lightning all out for 135 & were 55/3 in reply when the rain arrived. This followed a dominant display in the first T20 festival which took place at North Down CC.
The Reds top the T20 table after a remarkable 3 from 3 performance.
Premier League
Limerick 1 (153/10) lost to Kerry Cricket Club 1 (248/10) by 95 runs.
One game to report with Kerry travelling to Adare to take on Limerick, where the visitors ran out winners by 95 runs.

Division 1 T20 Cup
Twelve matches took place over the two weeks, with Limerick Blasters, Kerry, Harlequins & UCC progressing to the finals day festival on Saturday 11th June down at the Oyster Oval.
Kerry progressed via a 61 run win over Limerick, followed by a 32 run victory against Nenagh, before losing to Limerick Blasters by 102 runs.
Limerick Blasters added to this win with an 8 wicket victory to knock out Nenagh, to progress despite losing the local derby with Limerick by 165 runs.
Limerick were unlucky not to get through, this second win following their 5 wicket victory over Nenagh. Missing a finals spot on % points.
The second half of the draw was unfortunately hit by the weather with the final match abandoned between UCC & Midleton, which affected the final progression.
UCC go through the care of two wins, by 21 runs against Cork County & 9 wickets against Harlequins.
The Harlequins side also progressed with two wins, 17 runs against Midleton & 36 runs over Cork County.
The other match in the group saw Midleton beat Cork County by 48 runs.

Division 2 T20 Cup
Five games played across the two weeks sorting out the final festival places & the rain turned up to create some bowl-out tension with a Cork derby final being re-arranged between Cork Harlequins & Cork County on the 14th of June.
A midweek evening game in Adare saw the two Limerick clubs face off. Visitors Blasters losing by 8 wickets to Limerick.
The following weekend, Blasters hosted Kerry & bounced back with a 23 run win, only to lose the second game of the day to Clonmel who came away from Crokers oval with a 36 run victory.
A week later saw the rain-affected finals festival at Farmers cross & the drama of damp bowl-outs. Hosts, Cork Harlequins held their nerve to beat Limerick 3-0. This was followed by Cork County closing out Clonmel 1-0.

Ten games over the two weekends with two abandoned due to rain, this is a league format so the final groupings are still to be decided.
At Lisronagh the home side Clonmel notched up two victories with a 62 run win over Harlequins followed by 35 over Clare. In between these games, Clare closed out Harlequins by 105 runs.
Down in Carriganore hosts, Waterford beat County by 5 wickets, whilst up in Adare Limerick beat Lismore by 4 wickets.
The second weekend was again split across three grounds. In the Mardyke, County hosted Harlequins & Limerick with the rain affecting proceedings. In the first game, County beat Harlequins by 7 wickets on DLS with the two final games abandoned.
Up to Lisronagh & visitors, Waterford overcame the hosts Clonmel by 12 runs.
Meanwhile down in Castlelands & Lismore beat visitors Clare in a tight match by 12 runs.

A Cork County derby between the Tigers & the Sharks saw the Tigers keep the local bragging rights, winning by 9 wickets. For the Tigers, Connor Aherne 25*, Mark Donnelly 25* & 2/17, D Barry 2/18, Senan O’Connell 2/12. For the Sharks, Cillian Ross 16.
U13 Super League
Cork County U13 scored 141/0 dec, playing Galway U13 who made 40/10, County winning by 101 runs.
Summary
Weeks 7 & 8 of the 25 saw some dramatic T20s with competition silverware still up for grabs this weekend.
