The Munster Cricket Union (MCU) is thrilled to announce Celtic Spirit as the lead sponsor for the MCU Women and Girls Cup for the 2025 season and beyond.
A Strong Commitment to Women’s Sport
This partnership marks a significant step forward for women’s cricket in Munster. Celtic Spirit was established in 2011 (formerly known as Irish All Star Nationals), and has a proven track record of supporting young women in competitive activities. Founders Fiona Collumb and Sarah Barry set out to provide a family event that would showcase and promote the cheerleaders in Ireland- a very new sport in Ireland at that time.
Building a Brighter Future
Celtic Spirit is the longest running, largest & most established Cheerleading Championship in Ireland and features a World calibre judging panel, full spring floor, five mat vinyl dance floor along with bids to The IASF Cheerleading and Dance World Championships and The Summit.
We are delighted to sponsor the women’s and girls cricket league and wish all of the teams competing the very best of luck in the upcoming competition season.
When asked about the sponsorship, Sarah said “We are delighted to sponsor the MCU Women and Girls Cup and wish all the teams competing the very best of luck in the upcoming competition season.
“Sponsors are vital to the growth of the MCU Women and Girls Cup,” says Joseph Moynihan, CEO of Munster Cricket Union. “We are incredibly proud to have Celtic Spirit on board as our lead sponsor. Their commitment to promoting female participation in athletics aligns perfectly with our vision for the MCU Women and Girls Cup.”
