Cricket in Munster
Munster has a vibrant and growing youth cricket platform at school, club and provincial level.
We run inter-club and schools’ competitions across a range of ages and grades:
Schools Championships
U11/Minor Youth Blitzes
U13 Inter-club League
U15 Inter-club League
U17/Senior Youth Challenge series
In addition, our youth players make up a significant proportion of the adult sides across the provincial competitions as clubs promote youth development.

Youth Cricket Development
At representative and inter provincial levels, we are engaged in a long-term developmental program with the aim of producing ‘Home grown’ future adult Reds players. Munster currently fields representative sides in the Cricket Ireland U15 & U17 Interprovincial Series, as well as U13 Tours. We look forward to adding female representation in the Youth Interprovincials!
