The Munster Heat squad has been announced for the next round of the Future series against the Emerging Northern Knights this week in OakHill .
The Heat Squad is as follows

Ted Williamson – Munster Heat Head Coach – “We’re really excited to see how the lads perform this year. It’s the environment that has had the most contact time in the off season and due to some personal changes opportunities will be there for some of the younger players to challenge themselves against their peers from around the country. Certain players need to increase levels of output but our priority will always be honest, team oriented players with good values who tried their best for the Munster badge.”
Jeremy Bray – Munster Reds Head Coach – “Am really looking forward to joining the heat squad and head coach Ted Williamson for their upcoming games in oakhill this coming Wednesday and Thursday. It will give me a great opportunity to see which players have the required skill sets and mentality to make the step up to the munster reds side. It was with great delight to see 2 heat players in Byron McDonough and Ryan Joyce make there way into the reds squad for the festival in Bready where Ryan made is debut. I was very impressed with alot of what I saw from the squad when I stepped in for Ted v the lightening bolts where with a bit of luck we could have snatched a win in the t20. Hopefully next year we can see an expanded future series where the heat players can get much needed exposure to quality cricket which will I turn see the gap between the reds and the heat narrow.”
