During the ’80s Waterford boasted around twenty Mid Week League teams and representitave teams in the Munster League and Cup. Waterford District CC is a combination of players who maintained a playing interest in the sport from that period and some newer players. It is hoped to develop a youth section aimed toward establishing the game in Waterford once again.
