Anurag’s journey in the world of sports has been a lifelong commitment. His recent academic achievement—a Bachelor’s degree in Business Studies with Sports Management from Technological University of the Shannon (TUS) in Limerick—has provided him with a robust theoretical framework to complement his practical experience. This specialised degree has equipped him with the strategic and managerial skills essential for navigating the complexities of sports development, perfectly aligning his professional aspirations with his personal passion.
Prior to his move to Ireland, Anurag made substantial contributions to cricket development in his home country. He served as a Development Officer for a school in India, a role where he dedicated himself to fostering a love for cricket at the fundamental level. His responsibilities included meticulously organising coaching sessions, actively encouraging participation among young enthusiasts, and providing guidance to help budding players hone their skills. Anurag cherishes this experience, finding immense reward in witnessing children not only improve their cricketing abilities but also blossom in confidence, both on and off the field.
