Clubs across Munster will observe a minute’s silence before the start of this weekend’s games to remember all those who have lost their lives to coronavirus during the current pandemic and to acknowledge the sterling and heroic roles of all those in the various health care sectors and other essential services.
It also allows us to take the opportunity to pay our respects to those members within our cricket family who have passed away recently, during this difficult time, and whose funerals we have been unable to attend.
Of course social distancing requirements should be observed during this.
The condensed season will commence this weekend, 18th July, with matches taking place at all levels.
