First Innings: Limerick CC U17 XI

Limerick CC U17 XI won the toss and elected to bat first. They faced an early setback when opener Abubakar Aziz Ullah (7) was bowled by Seneth Sumanasinghe in the first over. Ghufran Chaudhry added 12 runs before being run out by Namish Kumar, leaving Limerick at 33 for 2 during the powerplay.

First Innings: Midleton CC 2nd XI

Midleton CC 2nd XI won the toss and chose to bat first, but struggled early in the powerplay, losing three wickets for 23 runs. R Muhammad (1) was run out in the first over by Srihari Ravichandran, followed shortly by Naman Gandhi (3), who was trapped lbw by Ishaan Singh Seehra. Jigar Vyas (5) was then caught off the bowling of Parag Soni. When Shan Sarhadi (10) was run out by Eddie Ross, Midleton were left in difficulty at 33 for 4.

Captain Balaji Suresh (20) and Faraz ur rehman Sharif combined for a 47-run partnership to ground the innings. Faraz ur rehman Sharif top-scored for Midleton with a 33-ball 35, including a four and 4 sixes. After Balaji Suresh was bowled by Srihari Ravichandran, the middle and lower order fell in steady succession. Lismore lost early wickets as Sarath Jose (10) was bowled by BD Philip and Atul Wavhal (13) was trapped lbw by Sebin Scaria. A 62-run partnership for the third wicket stabilized the innings before Arun Marhew (15) was bowled by Aby chacko and Manikandan N (32) was caught off Pavi Sankar.

Wicketkeeper Jamsheed Mohammed anchored the middle and lower order, top-scoring for the hosts with 40 runs from 61 balls. Limerick Blasters CC 2nd XI won the toss and elected to field first. Clare CC 3rd XI faced immediate disruption in the opening over when Arun Balakrishnan Embran Kandy dismissed both M Salman (0) and Chandrasekaran Palanisamy (0) on consecutive deliveries. Daniyal Shams struck 19 runs from 25 balls before he too was bowled by Arun Balakrishnan Embran Kandy, leaving Clare at 29 for 3.

The middle order staged a recovery led by Shafiq Bajwa and R Shahid. The duo put together a 100-run partnership for the fifth wicket, moving the score from 46 for 4 past the 150-run threshold. Shafiq Bajwa top-scored for Clare with a patient 68 off 81 balls (11 fours), while R Shahid contributed a resilient 38 off 55 balls.

Openers Muhammad Arbaz Amjad Kushar (18) and Robin Raj (36) provided a solid platform, taking the score to 40 without loss in the powerplay. However, County Kerry CC 3rd XI triggered a top-order collapse, reducing Clonmel to 94 for 5. Devon Janjetich claimed the wickets of Subeesh Velappan (4) and Robin Raj, while Jithu Jayaprakash and Joshua Thulasi Raman dismissed Muhammad Arbaz Amjad Kushar and Sarath Divakaran (7) respectively. Ahmad Qamar (6) was also dismissed during this phase.
