Munster Cricket Union Announces Upcoming Coaching Courses
Munster Cricket Union (MCU) is excited to announce two upcoming coaching courses, Coaching Cricket 5-11, and Coaching Cricket (Level 1) in Mallow.
Coaching Cricket 5-11
The Coaching Cricket 5-11 course is designed for anyone who wants to learn how to coach cricket to children aged 5-11 years. The course will cover all aspects of coaching cricket, including:
- Developing fundamental cricket skills
- Creating a fun and engaging learning environment
- Managing games and practices
- Working with young players and their parents
The course will be held on the following dates:
- February 18-22, 2024

Coaching Cricket (Level 1)
The Coaching Cricket (Level 1) course is the first step in becoming a qualified cricket coach. The course will cover all aspects of coaching cricket, including:
- The fundamentals of cricket
- Developing coaching skills
- Working with different age groups
- Creating a safe and inclusive environment
The course will be held on the following dates:
- March 3, 2024
- March 24, 2024

Both courses will be delivered by qualified cricket coaches and will provide participants with the knowledge and skills they need to coach cricket effectively.

The Munster Cricket Union (MCU) is the governing body for cricket in Munster. The MCU is responsible for developing cricket at all levels, from grassroots to elite. The MCU runs a number of coaching courses and programs throughout the year to help people of all ages and abilities learn to play cricket.
